Liz Babbs - Creative Innovator, Communicator & Comedienne
Liz studied for her Bachelor's & Master's Degrees in Education @ Nottingham University working for many years as a secondary school teacher. She came to faith in 1987 @ St Nic's Church, Nottingham where she's a mission partner.
In 1989 Liz suffered with the illness ME (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) & was dramatically healed through prayer some years later. She later wrote a book Can God Help M.E.? (1999) which helped countless sufferers. Liz is now an award-winning author of 16 books & 10 CDs. She is considered to be an expert in the area of prayer, meditation & spiritual formation & has been an advisor to The Bible Society. Her Lent, Pentecost & Advent books, Transformed by the Presence of Jesus, Transformed by the Holy Spirit & Making Room for Jesus are best-sellers - her latest book Transformed by the Love of the Father completes the trilogy of Bible studies on the Trinity (CWR, 2016).
Liz is known for her wit as well as her wisdom & has led hundreds of events, retreats & women’s weekends in the UK & USA. She has worked as an artist in residence & performed @ the Edinburgh Fringe Festival & Tate Britain. She is currently touring her Great British Bake Off inspired show Comedy & Cupcakes.
