Short Biography

Liz Babbs (MEd) is a dynamic speaker and writer who is passionate about reaching spiritual seekers and helping Christians deepen their relationship with God. She is author of ten books and five CDs including the award-winning Into God’s Presence – Listening to God though Prayer and Meditation (Zondervan, 2005).

As a creative communicator, Liz is known for her innovative presentations, collaborations with musicians and sense of humour. She has the gift of speaking to the unchurched as well as the churched and has completed hundreds of speaking and teaching engagements both here and in America. She is passionate about reaching the lost and is currently challenging Christians to step out of their comfort zones and embrace risky faith.

Liz is considered to be an expert in the area of prayer and spiritual formation and has written and voiced materials for many organizations including The Bible Society. Liz also tours BibleAlive – an interactive presentation bringing the Bible to life through Bible meditation, visual imagery, music, prayer and silence.

Liz is a Philo Associate and member of the College of Evangelists.
